Be Greatful for Life!!

Happy Holiday's everyone. I want to express my thanks today. My thanks for LIFE (no not the magazine) life!! Living everyday! Nothing could be more wonderful.

Lately each and every morning I wake up enthused to get up and get going. I literally so thrilled for what the day has in store for me.

Now I know some of you out there might dread the alarm clock and want to hide under the covers all day. Boy are you missing out!

The world is full of so many wonderful things. So many challenges, puzzles, and games that need to be solved, conquered and completed.

How exciting is that!

Each and every life is so precious and we only have so much time to do with it what we will. Ok so perhaps you don't share my same sediments. Your not alone, but you don't have to be that way.

I am an artist, but I don't just create works of art. I create all sorts of stuff. And that right there is the key to life. Creating stuff. I swear it is the most exciting and happy producing element on the planet.

If you are not happy I charge you to go out and Create something. Draw a picture, write a song, build a castle whatever, just create something of value.

And if you are up for a challenge here are the big ones. They are definately more challenging but the rewards are astounding. Create a family (this is way more than just having babies and probably the toughest one out there, but oh the blessings!), create a business, company, or enterprise! I cannot tell you how exciting this is.

If you haven't any ideas leave a comment. I'll give you one. I have too many.

Merry Christmas, Bridget

UHHH

You ever have those days where absolutely nothing comes out. I don't mean in the toilet, but out of your mind. If you could jump inside mine today you would find chaos. And I would definately suggest wearing a hard hat so you don't get slammed with one half baked idea flying over your head while the foundation starts rumbling again. Seriously sometimes it takes everything in me to even spell hat correctly yes hat, you see thanks to backspace you don't know I originally typed it as had, 'cept now you do... Well since my mind cannot give you something intelligent to read let me at least give you something cool to see.

Flying Monkey

No paintings today, but I hope you like my craftiness....Flying Monkey Baby!!! I made the wings out of felt, velvet and pipe cleaners. It was so easy. Oh yeah that's me the wicked witch in her greenness.
Yes I know Halloween is long gone and I should be posting a fabulous election photo. Well my election day went as follows. I stood in poll line with my little one for two hours, then had him pulling at my pen while I tried to fill in the bubbles. I'm not quite sure why we are still in the dark ages of fill in the bubble here in FL. I was all hyped up for a little pizza and watch the election results, when my hubby didn't order enough for me and all of his mutual boys. So I shared a leftover piece of frozen pizza with my baby and pouted.

Though I happily voted against Obama. I am thrilled to have a multi racial president elect. Too bad he has some really bad policies. I'm hoping they were just to get votes and he will govern better. Just my opinion however. Still looks like the tall guy always wins. Like I said before, Obama is definately eloquent and picturesque! Congrats to him.

Scary Politics

I love Halloween!!! Dressing up in fun costumes it like live art pieces!! I hate the scary blood and gore stuff. In costumes it is cool, but I'm not much of a haunted house fan. I think this year I'm going to be a mummy, since I am a new mommy I thought it would be fitting.

As for the debate last night. I learned a lot. I am now particularly fond of Sarah Palin. She is a breath of fresh air. She reminds me of well me. I can imagine her complaining to her husband one day how things just shouldn't be that way and him saying well Sarah do something about it. I know many of you wives out there have had similar experiences. It odd how when you are incharge of family responsibilities and not bothered with day to day responsibilities of a job you can see so much more of how the world works. The only difference between Sarah and I, she actually did something about it. Go her! I suspect if John McCain takes office she will continue doing something. She has definately raised points for a GOP vote from me....is that enough?

Back to halloween, since it is october. This oil pastel piece is of My Uncle when he was in CATS! Now those are costumes!!! Speaking of which if you don't have one check this site out! Check out the New Arrivals at CostumeDiscounters.com

Debate Debacle

Everything is a debate! Last night's debate, what a doosy. Obama is quite enchanting, he definately has the words for leading our country. On the other hand McCain actually answers directly the question being asked. Experience or Youth? I have often found that a new perspective will always help make the best decision, but I rarely would give the person with the new perspective the decision making power? Good thing for me the election is not tomorrow. No life goes on for today.

I hope you like today's painting. I created this one with wet plaster and a drill and when dried added all the beautiful colors of the rainbow! how drab our world would be without color. I've done some extensive thinking about color and our world and yes this applies to life, the debate everything so open up your mind and follow along.

When I was a child I often wondered how a world with a pink sky would look. With perhaps deep purple grass and yellow oceans. Then the more I colored, the more I realized. If we took all the intense and most beautiful colors and used them with equal intensity, value, and size something great was always lost! But how could this be, why can we not have even equality for all the crayons in the box? It was then that I realized. Some colors are ment to be rare, their intensity allows them to stand out and stand up in a crowd. They have such a greater impact in small numbers. While other colors like browns and greys and even some blues need to be spread far and wide before you can appreciate their lush beauty and all they have to offer. Sometimes one is ment to stand out, sometimes one is meant to draw anchor, or support, but without all the colors our lives would be much, much duller.

As for today's networking advice. This is simple. Remember networking is a business venture, a business venture should not deplete you of your savings. Infact it is always best to use other peoples money when starting out and then pay them back. Utilize your investors, even if they are a bank or business card!
